Your hands are busy when the messages arrive
A beauty or wellness business earns its money with a client in the chair. That’s exactly when the booking questions arrive, by Instagram message, text, and email. By the time you’ve finished the appointment, the person who asked may have booked somewhere else.
We work with a solo brow and lash artist whose booking questions arrived in Instagram messages during appointments. The questions were mostly about price and availability, and they sat unanswered until the artist had a free moment.
Where your week goes
For a solo artist, it’s the messages. Price questions, availability, and how to book come in all day, while your hands are busy.
For a bigger salon or spa, it’s the follow-up. Clients leave without rebooking, and the reminder text goes out only when someone on the front desk remembers. Every client who drifts away costs you more than the time it would have taken to ask.
Why buying a tool alone falls short
Booking apps send reminders, and chat apps can answer questions. On their own, they don’t know your treatments, your prices, or when a question needs your eye. A canned reply to a client asking about a reaction is worse than no reply.
What makes AI useful in a small studio is the setup around it. We connect the AI helper to your booking system, give it your real prices and policies, and draw a clear line around what it answers and what comes straight to you. You can read how we think about this in our approach.

How we build it
We map how a booking moves through your week, then set up one AI helper for the job that costs you the most clients.
For the solo brow and lash artist, the AI helper answers price and availability questions in Instagram messages and sends the booking link. Fewer enquiries are missed. Anything about allergies or skin goes to the artist, because those questions need a professional.
For Still Water Day Spa, a seven-person day spa in Noosa, the problem was rebooking. Clients left without booking their next visit, and follow-up texts happened when someone remembered. Now follow-up messages are drafted from each visit in Fresha and sent through Klaviyo. The rebooking rate went from 31% to 44% over three months. A new booking system rollout in the same period also helped, so not all of that rise is down to the follow-ups.
Rules that apply to you
Questions about allergies, reactions, skin, or health need a trained person, and we build that line in from the start. Client details and treatment notes stay in the tools you already control, and the AI helper sees only what it needs to do its job.
What good looks like
Good looks like enquiries answered while you work, clients who get a follow-up after every visit, and more of your week spent with clients instead of on your phone. Read the full stories from Still Water Day Spa and the brow and lash artist, or see AI helpers and connecting your tools.

The same setup works for hospitality and events, coaching and online education, and fashion. When you’re ready, get your AI Starter Plan or look at our packages.
