A plain plan for where AI fits in your salon, spa, or studio
Beauty and wellness is a hands-on business, and a lot of AI advice doesn't fit it. You don't need AI skin analysis to get your evenings back. We start from your week and write a short plan that names the first job for AI, often booking questions or follow-ups, the tools it connects to, what it costs, and what stays with you. Consultations and anything about a client's health stay in your hands.

What a salon or studio AI plan covers
The first job
One job that repeats daily, like Instagram booking questions or rebooking follow-ups, picked from what you tell us.
The tools it touches
Which of Fresha, Mindbody, Square, Instagram, Klaviyo, or Calendly the first AI helper needs.
What stays with you
Consultations, patch tests, health questions, and unhappy clients, written down so nobody hands them over.
Cost and order
Which package fits your team, and the order the next jobs come in.
Where salons and studios are with AI
Most salon owners have seen the AI pitches. Virtual try-ons, skin scanners, chatbots that promise to run the front desk. Few of them fit a three-chair salon or a solo brow studio. Meanwhile the real time drain goes untouched. Instagram messages during treatments, follow-ups that don’t happen, forms chased on the day. Nobody has looked at which of those to fix first.
What goes in your plan
Your AI plan (the industry calls it an AI strategy) is a short document written for your business. It names the first job, how an AI helper will do it, which tools it reads from, and what a person checks. It also says what comes next and what it costs. For a solo artist, the first job is often booking questions. For a bigger spa, it’s often rebooking follow-ups. The plan comes from your week.

Two first jobs in beauty and wellness
We work with a solo brow and lash artist whose first job was Instagram booking questions. An AI helper answers price and availability questions and sends the booking link, so fewer enquiries are missed, and anything about allergies or skin goes to the artist. We also work with Still Water Day Spa, a seven-person day spa in Noosa, whose first job was follow-ups after each visit. Rebookings went from 31% to 44% over three months, with a new booking system rollout in the same period also helping.
What a plan leaves out
A plan shows where your time goes and how to win some back. It can’t fill your book. If your salon is short-staffed or between locations, the plan may say to wait, and we’ll tell you so.
