A plain plan for where AI fits in your coaching or course business
Coaches hear a lot about AI clones, AI course builders, and AI that writes your whole launch. Most of it misses what takes your time. We start from your week and write a short plan that names the first job for AI, the tools it connects to, what it costs, and what stays with you. For most coaches the first job is enquiries or student questions, and your voice and judgement stay yours.

What a coaching or course AI plan covers
The first job
One job that repeats weekly, like enquiries or student questions, picked from what you tell us.
The tools it touches
Which of Kajabi, Calendly, Stripe, Meta Business Suite, or Gmail the first AI helper needs.
What stays with you
Sessions, personal advice, client selection, and your teaching voice, written down so nobody hands them over.
Cost and order
Which package fits your business, and the order the next jobs come in.
Where coaches are with AI
Most coaches and course creators already use AI for something. Captions, email drafts, maybe an outline for a new module. Many have also been pitched a tool that promises to clone them or build a course in an afternoon. Meanwhile, the hours still go on enquiries, onboarding, and the same student questions every week. Nobody has pointed AI at the job that would give those hours back.
What goes in your plan
Your AI plan (the industry calls it an AI strategy) is a short document written for your business. It names the first job, how an AI helper will do it, which tools it reads from, and what you still check. It says what comes next and what it costs. For a solo coach, the first job is often enquiries. For a course with a few hundred students, it’s usually student questions. The plan comes from your week, not a tool’s sales page.

Two first jobs, two businesses
We work with a solo business coach with an online course whose first job was enquiries from three channels. An AI helper gathers them into one sorted list each morning and drafts a first reply, and the founder decides which clients to take on. We also work with a two-person online course business teaching bookkeeping whose first job was student questions. The founders now answer about 20 a week instead of 120, and anything about a student’s own tax goes to a person.
What a plan won’t do
A plan shows where your time goes and how to get some back. It won’t fill your program or write your next course. If you’re in the middle of moving course platforms, it may say to wait until that’s done, and we’ll tell you so.
