A plain plan for where AI fits in your venue or catering business
Hospitality is about people and service, and that doesn't change with AI. What can change is the admin behind it. We start from your week and write a short plan that names the first job for AI, often quotes or orders, the tools it connects to, what it costs, and what stays with your team. Service, menus, and every allergen decision stay where they are.

What a hospitality AI plan covers
The first job
One job that repeats every week, like event quotes or catering orders, picked from what you tell us.
The tools it touches
Which of Square, HubSpot, Gmail, Google Workspace, or Xero the first AI helper needs.
What stays with your team
Service, menus, allergens, and the calls with couples and clients, written down so nobody hands them over.
Cost and order
Which package fits your team, and the order the next jobs come in, timed around your busy season.
Where hospitality is with AI
Hospitality owners get pitched AI phone bots, AI menu designers, and AI that predicts covers. Few of them fit an eight-person venue or a cafe with a catering sideline. The real time sink is quieter. Quotes that take days, orders that arrive five different ways, and reminders that depend on the manager remembering. Nobody has picked which of those to fix first.
What goes in your plan
Your AI plan (the industry calls it an AI strategy) is a short document written for your business. It names the first job, how an AI helper will do it, which tools it reads from, and what your team still checks. It also says what comes next and what it costs, timed around your season. For a venue, the first job is often quotes. For a cafe with catering, it’s often getting orders into one place.

Two first jobs in hospitality
We work with The Orchard Barn, an eight-person wedding venue in the Barossa, whose first job was quotes. They used to take up to 3 days and now go out within a day, and the events manager still calls every couple before booking. We also work with a six-person cafe with a catering arm whose first job was orders. They now sit in one sheet with a daily prep list, with no missed orders in the first two months and phone orders still typed in by staff.
What a plan won’t promise
A plan shows where your time goes and how to win some back. It can’t fill a quiet Tuesday. If you’re about to change POS or booking systems, it may say to wait until that’s done, and we’ll tell you so.
