A plain plan for where AI fits in your studio
Your team probably already uses AI for captions and first drafts, each person their own way. Clients are also starting to ask how you use it. We start from your studio's week and write a short plan that names the first job worth setting up properly, the tools it connects to, what it costs, and what stays with your creative team. You get one agreed way of working, which also answers the client question.

What an agency AI plan covers
The first job
One job that repeats and costs unbilled hours, like client updates or monthly reports, picked from what you tell us.
The tools it touches
Which of Asana, monday.com, Slack, HubSpot, Google Workspace, or Meta Business Suite it needs.
What clients are told
A plain answer for clients who ask how your studio uses AI, and where it doesn't.
Cost and order
Which package fits your team, and the order the next jobs come in.
Where agencies are with AI now
In most small studios, AI arrived one person at a time. A copywriter uses one chat tool, a designer uses another, and the director has a paid account nobody else knows the login for. Clients have started asking about it in pitches. There’s no shared way of working, so nobody can say what the studio does with AI or where the time saved went.
What goes in your plan
Your AI plan (the industry calls it an AI strategy) is a short document written for your studio. It names one job worth setting up properly first, how an AI helper will do it, which tools it reads from, and what a person checks. It sets out what you’ll tell clients. It also says what comes next and what it costs. For a design studio the first job is often client updates. For a social media agency it’s usually the monthly reports.

Agency plans that became real work
We work with Saltbush Studio, a six-person design agency in Fremantle, where the first job was Friday updates for twelve retainer clients. They now take the director under an hour. We also work with a four-person social media agency whose first job was 18 monthly reports, down from two full days a month to about half a day. In both, a person still writes the part clients value most, whether that’s the director’s personal line or the account lead’s strategy notes.
The plan’s limits
A plan can show you where the unbilled hours go. It can’t win you clients or make your work better. If your studio is in the middle of switching project boards, the plan may say to wait, and we’ll say so.
