Set Claude up to do real work in your business, the same way every time

Claude is good at reading long documents, following detailed instructions, and writing in a steady, careful tone, which suits a lot of small business work. But out of the box it doesn't know your business. We set Claude up for your team with shared projects for your weekly jobs, your tone and rules written in once, and clear guidance on what data goes in. Then, where a job needs to run without a person starting it, we use Claude as the engine for an AI helper that does it every time.

What you get

What we set up for you on Claude

01

Shared projects for your weekly jobs

We set up Claude projects for the jobs your team repeats, with your instructions and reference files inside, so everyone starts from the same place.

02

Your business written down once

Your tone, products, prices, and rules go in once. Nobody has to explain the business again at the start of every chat.

03

Long documents handled well

Claude can read a long price sheet, a funding agreement, or a stack of reports in one go, so we use it where the job means reading a lot.

04

Clear rules about data

A one-page guide for your team on what's fine to share, what never goes in, and which settings to check on your account.

05

A path to AI helpers

When a job is ready to run on its own, we use Claude underneath an AI helper that does it the same way every time, with a person checking the result.

Your team has tried Claude, but it hasn’t stuck

Maybe someone on your team uses Claude for writing, and it’s good. But it hasn’t spread past one or two people, and the results change depending on who asks and how. Every chat starts from nothing. Someone pastes in the same background about the business, the same tone notes, and the same price list, again and again.

Why Claude on its own doesn’t do the job

Claude is careful with instructions and good with long documents. That makes it a strong fit for the reading and writing work that fills a small team’s week. But it only knows what you tell it, and it doesn’t pick its own jobs. Without a setup, it stays a clever app that a few people open now and then.

The work that saves the most time is usually a repeat job, the same report or the same update every week. Those jobs need the same instructions and the same sources each time. That’s what a setup gives you.

How we set it up on Claude

We work with Saltbush Studio, a six-person design agency in Fremantle that sends a status update to each of its twelve retainer clients every Friday. The director used to write all twelve by hand from the project board in Asana, and it took most of the afternoon. We used Claude as the engine for an AI helper (the industry calls it an agent) that reads the week’s tasks and drafts one update per client. The director reads each draft, adds a personal line, and sends it.

We also tried feeding it the team’s Slack chat. It picked up jokes and half-made decisions and put them in front of clients, so Slack came out. The twelve updates now take the director under an hour. They still can’t say whether a job is over budget, because the studio tracks hours in a separate app that isn’t connected yet. Read the Saltbush Studio story.

Not every job needs an AI helper. For most teams, we start with Claude projects for the jobs people do by hand each week, each with your instructions and reference files inside. We add a one-page data guide, then sit with the team and work through real examples. When one job keeps coming back the same way, that’s the one we turn into an AI helper.

When Claude is the right call, and when it isn’t

Claude is a strong pick when the work means reading a lot, writing carefully, or following detailed rules, like client updates, grant reports, quotes, and policies. It’s a weaker fit when your team spends the whole day inside Google or Microsoft tools and wants AI right there. In that case, the AI built into those tools may fit better. FAQs

Common questions

Should we use Claude or ChatGPT?
Both are strong, and many small teams do fine with either. Claude is a good fit when the work involves long documents or careful writing. We pick based on your jobs and the tools you already use, and your setup sits apart from the model, so you aren't tied to one AI.
Who makes Claude?
Claude is made by Anthropic, an AI company based in the United States. It's available as an app on the web, desktop, and phone, and it can also run behind the scenes inside the AI helpers we build.
Is our data safe in Claude?
It depends on your account type and settings. Anthropic publishes how it handles data for each account type, and business accounts come with stronger terms. We check your setup and write down what your team can and can't put in.
What's a Claude project?
A project is a shared space in Claude with its own instructions and files. Your team opens the project for a job, like writing client updates, and Claude already knows how you do it.
Will Claude get things wrong?
Sometimes, yes. It can sound sure about something that isn't right. We set it up to work from your own information wherever we can, and a person checks anything before it reaches a customer or a funder.
What does this cost?
Every package has a fixed price on the packages page, with AI running costs included. If you're not sure where to start, the AI Starter Plan is free and gives you a plan for where to start.
