n8n automations for small teams that run a lot of the same job
n8n is an automation tool that connects your apps and runs steps between them, much like Zapier, with two big differences. You can run it on your own setup as well as in n8n's cloud, and it handles long, branching jobs well. That makes it a good fit when a job runs many times a day, has lots of exceptions, or uses AI to read and sort things. We build the automations, look after them, and keep a person checking anything that goes to a customer.

What we build for you on n8n
Automations for busy jobs
Workflows that handle a high number of orders, enquiries, or records every day without the cost climbing each time they run.
Steps that match your exceptions
Branches for the real cases in your week, such as returning customers, missing details, or orders over a set amount.
AI steps with a check
AI steps that read emails, sort requests, or draft replies, with a person approving anything a customer will see.
Hosting that suits you
We run n8n in its own cloud or on a setup you control, depending on your data and what you're comfortable with.
Looked after, not left behind
We keep n8n updated, watch for failed runs, and fix things when a connected app changes.
One job runs all day, and someone handles it by hand
Most small teams have one job that never stops. Orders that need sorting into the right packing list. Enquiries that need tagging and a first reply. Records that get copied from a form into a spreadsheet and then into the accounts. It runs dozens or hundreds of times a week, and each run has its own little exceptions. You’ve thought about automating it, but the simple tools either get pricey at that volume or can’t handle the twists.
Why n8n on its own doesn’t do the job
n8n is powerful. It can connect most of the apps a small business uses, branch in lots of directions, and include AI steps. But that power comes with a learning curve, and someone has to look after it. If you run it yourself, someone has to keep it updated and backed up. If a connected app changes, someone has to notice the failed runs and fix them.
For a team of one to ten, that someone is usually the founder at 10pm. That’s the gap we fill.
How we set it up on n8n
We start by mapping how you work (the industry calls it process mapping). We write down the job step by step, including every exception, and how often each one happens.
Then we build the workflow in n8n, one piece at a time. Each branch handles a real case from your week. Where AI helps, we add a step that reads an email or form and sorts it, or drafts a reply. Anything a customer will see waits for a person. We set up alerts for failed runs, write a short note for each workflow, and choose hosting with you. Some teams are happy in n8n’s cloud. Others want their data kept on a setup they control.
After launch, we keep it running. That means updates, checking failed runs, and fixing things when one of your apps changes.
When n8n is the right call, and when it isn’t
n8n is a good fit when a job runs very often, has lots of exceptions, or uses AI to read and sort things. It’s also a good choice when you’d rather keep data on your own setup.
For a few simple jobs at low volume, Zapier is usually quicker and easier. And if nobody, including us, will be looking after n8n, don’t run it yourself. An automation nobody watches will break quietly one day.
